We were such fools to think it all would pass
In just a month or two, so much for that
This pandemic’s been bad
Made us lonely and sad
Seeing friends and family’s what we want so bad, hey hey
We spent the winter hiding out inside
To break the boredom we would take a ride
The virus was such
Those we wanted to touch
Had to stay away, until another day
Vaccinated and it feels so good
Vaccinated cuz we understoodThat once we were vaxed
We could start to relax
That’s why we’re so elated cuz we’re vaccinated.
We kept on staring at the same four walls
Saw friends and family only through zoom calls
Sometimes I’d just dream
I could climb through the screen
And take them in my arms without doing harm
Now it seems that better days are here
More peopled getting shots means less to fear
But though we are vaxed, we still wear our masks
Until we know it’s safe we’ll do what we are asked
Vaccinated and it feels so good
Vaccinated cuz we understood
That once we were vaxed
We could start to relax
That’s why we’re so elated cuz we’re vaccinated.
When this is over we will reminisce
About these crazy times we sure won’t miss
We’ll party again with family and friends
Yes we’ll be so excited when we’re reunited!
