Luanne, an accomplished guitarist and prolific songwriter, has a large and varied repertoire and a spectrum of styles ranging from folk to jazz to rock and blues, covering an impressive timespan from turn of the century (last one!) through the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80’s, and right up to the present.  She also plays tenor ukulele, allowing her a light and versatile instrument on which to accompany herself, especially good for outdoor events where she plays the “wandering minstrel,” making the rounds and sharing her gift of song in a easy, low-key, manner.

 

Luanne has moved away from her days of playing clubs and large venues and events to entertaining audiences at assisted living facilities, memory care units, Memory Cafes, Senior Centers, and other environments where the older set can enjoy her musical selections. For small groups she plays without a sound system - her voice carries well and she finds it allows a more intimate connection.
