Luanne, an accomplished guitarist, now plays primarily tenor ukulele, allowing her a light and versatile instrument on which to accompany herself. Her varied repertoire covers a spectrum of styles from folk to jazz to rock and blues, and an impressive timespan from turn of the century (last one!) through the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's, and right up to the present.
Luanne plays assisted living facilities, memory care units, Memory Cafes, Senior Centers, and other environments where the older set can enjoy her musical selections. For small groups she plays without a sound system - her voice carries well and she finds it allows a more intimate connection.
Luanne will also bring her gift of song to serenade you, you and your partner, a small dinner party, a woman’s night in, a small circle of friends or a gathering of your children or grandchildren. She’ll even accompany you on that trip to your elderly parent or hospital ridden friend as a special treat on your next visit. She’ll tailor her sets to your taste or mix it up and do a little something of everything.
