Field of Flags

For those of you who have been to a Field of Flags ceremony, you know what a moving tribute it is.  For those who don't know, the Field of Flags is a traveling display hosted mostly by churches, with rows of flags, one for every service man and woman who lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan.  

 

When the Westborough Unitarian Universlist church hosted the event in 2011, Luanne wrote a powerful tribute song, Field of Flags, which she has played since at ceremonies throughout New England.
