The Town of Westborough voted FOR the Community Preservation Act (CPA). Some people wondered why and what it's all about, and this explains it!

Westbro – there’s no need to feel down
I say, Westbro- let’s see a smile not a frown
C’mon Westbro – we all did good by this town
There’s no need to feel bad cuz
We Voted – and a great thing got passed
Yes we voted – and though a few are downcast
It just might be - some people don’t understand
They need an explanation
And an answer to an important question…
For those who want to know: Y CPA?

We’ll pay a little for sure, but get to do so much more
Than we could do without it-
I Say: Westbro – we can preserve open space
Honor the history we see all over the place
And build housing, the citizens can afford
And there’s even more
Say, you want – somewhere to go where people can play
Or just veg out on a warm summers day
Do you know what - can provide all those things
Now we’re answering that question
